Marketing Events Coordinator

We are looking for a Marketing Events Coordinator who will be based in our San Francisco office and will work closely together with the rest of the sales and marketing team to execute events and supporting marketing campaigns. The Marketing Events Coordinator will be using several tools including marketing automation and CRM. The role will include the opportunity to get involved with content marketing, blogging and social media activities. This position reports into the Sr. Director, Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage budget for lead gen events to support sales and marketing objectives
  • Budget management, including tracking of expenses and budget reconciliation.
  • Plan and execute events including trade shows, partner conferences, field marketing events, dinners, etc.
  • Manage scheduling and event setup and takedown.
  • Assist in creation and management of pre-show and post-show communications.
  • Interface and manage onsite event vendors and service providers.
  • Order, manage and ship collateral, booth elements/property, and other event-related items.
  • Coordinate marketing plans for events including email campaigns, customer messaging and paid advertising
  • Manage, support and execute marketing programs for sales
  • Organize and facilitate webinars focused on generating new leads
  • Research new opportunities to help achieve overall marketing targets.
  • Understand changes and trends in the marketplace and adjust plans and priorities accordingly, thus directly contributing to marketing strategy.

Requirements 

  • Results focused, interested in having clear targets and doing everything possible to meet and exceed
  • 2-3 years of experience, ideally with a background in B2B marketing, and experience of working in online marketing or B2B SaaS
  • Comfortable negotiating with vendors and being on point for successful execution of events and dinners
  • Experience of managing events including tradeshows, webcasts and conferences is a plus.
  • Experience working with sales automation (Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce) strongly preferred
  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Exceptional self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills.
  • You have strong project management skills and ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs.
  • You have the ability to quickly build rapport and work across teams.
  • High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility and commitment.
  • Willingness to travel to events
